The writing process—how does writing begin—where to get ideas—

Oh where, oh where do ideas come from? Where to begin?

As writers, ideas must be sought out and manifested into reality somehow by rendering a book, eBook, magazine, or such a mechanism where it is tangible. 

A writing project takes form through inspiration—what catches the eyes, --an idea is formed or latched onto an image and pen and paper is gathered for jotting down such ideas. –to some this is known as journaling, be it daily or writing so many words per day for an extended time.

Organizing the journal—arranging it into cohesiveness—what part is needed or could be better explained/expounded upon? –the length—durability –effectiveness –clarity, and most importantly, is it purposeful?

Well, I hope to return and add to this Art of Writing topic monthly, an investment on my time, as this is of interest to me and perhaps others.
